Water Baptisms

Water baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, and it is the outward demonstration of the inward transformation that takes place when Jesus becomes Lord of your life.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

How do you know if baptism is your Next Step?

• If you have put your faith in Jesus for the first time, or have rediscovered your faith in a much more personal way but have not been water baptized.
• If you were baptized as a child by your parent or guardian’s choice, but do not have any meaningful connection to that moment. We encourage you to make your own decision to be baptized because it is too significant of a matter to be the outcome of somebody else’s decision.
• If you have never been seriously connected to a local church - developing and living out your faith in the context of the Body of Christ - and have never been baptized, then we also encourage you to be baptized. We are baptized not just into Jesus, but into His body, and water baptism plays a significant role in symbolizing your place in that Body.
